On October 14, 2004, Jenifer Carter of this office performed a General Permit Inspection
on the wastewater treatment system at the abovementioned address in Davie County,North
Carolina. This type of inspection consists of two basic parts: a review of self-monitoring data, and
an on-site inspection of the facility and its discharge.
You hold a General Permit to discharge domestic wastewater from a single family
residence under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). You are found to
be in compliance with your General Permit No. NCG550244. There was no evidence of
wastewater discharge at the effluent pipe. Please refer to your permit for monitoring requirements.
If you notice any future discharge,please monitor accordingly the effluent characteristics listed in
the permit.
You stated that your 20-year-old tank has never been pumped out. This office appreciates
your volunteering to have that done immediately and to send in a copy of the receipt for the
services as soon they are performed. All system components appeared to be functioning properly
