Before Don Safrit did an across the board issuance of General Permit,I was working with
this Wade Motsinger for the rescission of his permit. He was a renewal violation that had
asked that his permit be renewed. But we waited around because we were going to issue him
a general. We didn't get it done in a timely manner and Don issued a General,in fact two
Generals were issued to this one facility. NCG550239 and NCG550553. I pointed this out
to Sue Robson and she deleted the 2nd#off the system, which was also issued to Ms.
Anderson.
I can't remember all the details,it was complicated. Instead of trying to explain something
that I can't remember that well, let's just go on from where we are right now.
Suffice it to say that the right General Permit#got rescinded and removed from the system.
The former NPDES No. appears to be NC0078905 not NC0057061(but it went much
deeper than this simple explaination), according to the GK system. For your records,
Marcia,delete NC0078905 from your files.
