McCrae I am writing on behalf of ExxonMobil Oil Corporation (EMOC) to submit the completed Short Form C required to renew the above referenced permit. It is my understanding from NCDENR’s (Fran McPherson), a check payable ($860.00) to NCDENR Wafer Quality Division is not required for renewal at this time. A sludge management plan is also required by this renewal. Please be advised that the current sludge plan remains in effect and the operating processes have not changed, since the last renewal (Dec 2003). The facility only generates sludge from the cleaning of the oil water separator, which is vacuum-trucked to a company approved waste disposal site. This process entails containment of sludge in 55-gal drums and disposal of that sludge in a manner consistent with both State and Federal regulations.
