Inspection Summary:
Fayetteville Regional Office Staff conducted an onsite inspection of the purposed mine location on 10/15/2024. During the
site visit, it was determined that land disturbance has been conducted under a NCDOT borrow pit permit and a small borrow
pit with approximately 3 small stockpiles were in place at the time of inspection. No mining activity was taking place during
the inspection, no haul roads, no active machinery, no dust control etc.. After speaking with Bryan Raynor in a phone
conversation, the operator intends to operate the location as a mine once they are completed with the borrow pit activity.
Based on the minig permit( No. 26-60)that was issued in July of 2024, the proposed Red Rock Mine will have two NPDES
sampling point.
