Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for Loch Dornie Maintenance Dredging Plan; DWR #20170359 v3; Linville, Avery PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on August 28, 2024, Grandfather Golf & Country Club (2120 Highway 105 South, Linville NC 28646) applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant to Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is sought is regarding Loch Dornie Maintenance Dredging. The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is November 17, 2024. Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on November 17, 2024. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form here: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments. Written comments may also be mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617. The application is available online. The application is also available at the Asheville Office of the DWR and may be inspected with an appointment between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays.
