There was approximately 10 inches of rain that fell in hard down pours. The Town has a grant to try to reduce I&I by replacement of most of the lines in the collection system. Until that project can be bided and awarded, Parkton Public Works has been checking the collection system to see if there are any problem they can fix in the meantime. Public Works replaced broken Manhole ring and cover at one SSO location. Looks to have been hit by tractor mowing right of ways. The town strives to do the best we can to keep SSO's from happening.
