1. General
a. This project area appears to already be covered by permit SW6190901. You may
wish to permit this project(SW6240701) as a minor modification to SW6190901 as it
will make the permitting easier(unless there is a specific reason that you want this to
be permitted separately). Minor modifications are for modifications to a project with
no built-upon area increases or changes to the stormwater control measure design as
appears to be the case with this project. Please contact Mike Lawyer if you would
like to pursue this option and we can discuss how this will impact the project. The

RESPONSE:
Per our discussion with Mike Lawyer, the applications as submitted for this "New Permit- Off-Site
Supplement"is correct. Mike was to speak with you in regards to processing this type of application.
b. Please indicate that, in addition to being a high-density project, this project drains to
an off-site stormwater system (Section II, 2). I understand that the form says to
"select one"however both are being utilized by this project so both should be
selected.
RESPONSE: Both items have been selected.

c. Please ensure that Runoff Treatment is being met by this project(15A NCAC
02H .1002(43)). In order to meet Runoff Treatment, the net increase in BUA from
existing to proposed conditions must be captured/treated in one or more primary
SCMs and the submittal materials are unclear if there will be some areas of BUA that
are bypassed as drainage areas were not provided and the Entire Site column of the
Supplement-EZ was not completed.
RESPONSE: Drainage areas are being provided and the Entire Site Column of the Supplement-EZ
form has been completed.
d. Please indicate the project boundaries on the USGS topographic map (Section VI,
RESPONSE: Project boundary has been added to the USGS topographic map.
6). It is currently unclear if the 30' vegetated setback from the top of bank of the
stream/impoundment of the pond would be within the project area. If so,please revise
the package as needed.
RESPONSE: None of the proposed improvements will affect the top of bank of the pond.
2. Application
2x hard copies of the Application with the following corrections made (These items are
required per 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(a) and per Section VI, 1 of the Application):
a. Section IV, 8:
The overall percent impervious is determined by dividing the total proposed impervious area by
the total project area and multiplying by 100. Please revise.
RESPONSE: Project percent of impervious area was recalculated and changed in the application to
match Supplement-EZ form.
3. Supplement-EZ Form
lx hard copy of the complete, original Supplement-EZ Form is required per Sections V&VI, 3
of the Application.
RESPONSE: The revised Supplement-EZ form has been included.

a. Drainage Areas Page, Entire Site Column
The entire site column should be an accounting of all BUA located within the project area
(whether or not it drains to the off-site SCM) and the drainage area column should be an
accounting of all of the BUA located within the drainage area to the SCM. NOTE: Lines 19-21
are not required for the entire site column. NOTE: The information entered in the drainage area
column should match the information provided the Application Section IV, 10, so the
Application may need to be revised if it does not currently reflect this information.
RESPONSE: Application has been revised to match Entire Site column on the Supplement-EZ form.
4. Plans:
2x hard copies of revised plan sheets with the following corrections made:
(This item is required per 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g) and per Section VI, 8 of the Application)
a. Please delineate the drainage area to the offsite SCM in the main set of plans (Section
VI, 8o).
RESPONSE: Drainage areas have been added to the Grading Plan.
b. Please identify and dimension all BUA for this project in the main set of plans (Section
VI, 8j). The information shown in the Supplement-EZ Form &Application should be
able to be verified on the plans. You may wish to call out the square footage of all types
of BUA(similar to how the area of the proposed building is called out on the cover page)
or you may wish to include a BUA summary table similar to the ones included in the
Supplement-EZ Form or Application.
RESPONSE: Square footages of all types of BUA has been added to the Development
Summary on the Cover Sheet.
c. 15A NCAC 02H.1042(2)(e): The vicinity map on the plans with needs to include street
names and SR numbers to the nearest intersection, with 1, 2, or 3-digit road numbers.
RESPONSE: State road numbers have been added to the Vicinity Map.
d. Please clarify if the swale along Club Pond Road is permanent.
RESPONSE: Swale has been labeled to indicate that it is a permanent swale.

5. Calculations:

made:

a. Please provide engineering calculations showing that the outlets of the site will be
able to non-erosively convey the 10-year design storm in perpetuity in the permanent
condition. 15A NCAC 02H .1003 (5)
RESPONSE: HGL Calcs and Profiles have been added to the Civil Plan Set see sheet C-5.04.
6. Please provide a Response to Comments letter indicating, in a point-by-point manner,
how each of the above comments has been addressed. This item is required per 15A
NCAC 02H .1042(3)(b).
RESPONSE: Response letter provided with comments.
7. Provide PDFs of all revisions, 2 hardcopies of revised plan sheets, 1 hardcopy of other
documents, and a response to comments letter briefly describing how the comments have
been addressed.
RESPONSE: All have been provided with this submittal.
