Inspection Summary:
The facility appears to have been abandoned for a long time. Concrete barriers are spaced across the front of the facility so
that no vehicles can enter.
There is a secondary containment area at the front of the property as you enter the site. The secondary containment has
two poly tanks one large and one small. There is also a 55 gallon plastic drum inside the containment area with an open
plug hole that is full of liquid. There is a ball valve on the drain pipe that doesn't have a handle and is not locked. The poly
tanks will need to be pumped completely out and rinsed so there is nothing left in the tanks and the drum will need the
same or be removed.
There is a gated area under a hopper next to the secondary containment area in an unsecured area. There are drums of
chemicals in that area with unused liquids still in them, one of which has an open plug hole. These drums should be kept
inside a secured structure to prevent a release of chemicals.
There is a fuel tank with dispenser on site that should be pumped completely out and have the dispenser disabled by locking
or removing dispenser nozzle.
There is an unsecured storage building on site that contains materials associated with the concrete mix production. This
building needs to be properly secured to prevent access by unauthorized personnel.
There are wooden pallets in different areas around the site. All pallets should be removed from the facility site
