This was a Responsible Party -lead incident. Dan Nielsen with Mid -Atlantic Associates may be able to assist or get
this to the right person/people. Dan was the last consultant contact UST had for the Peden site.

UST Section doesn't have any reason to keep the permit open. The site transitioned into Brownfields as the UST
incident wound down. Stephanie Hempel with Brownfields is copied in case there are any concerns on that end.

This site was not in the State Lead Program but was responsible party lead and it was closed back in 2022 with a
notice of residual petroleum with groundwater and soil restrictions. I have copied the Raleigh Regional Supervisor

since his office wash and ling the site but since it is closed I see no reason why the U I C permit could not be closed
as well.
