Dear Permittee:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Lumberton Collection
System on 9/23/2024. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in
compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit No. WQCS00024.
The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the
inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report"
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
The Lumberton collection system is well maintained and the require paperwork is organized.Lift stations #13, 1,58,62,and 41
were visited during the inspection. All pump stations that had a permanent generator were tested under load with no issues.
Lift station #62 has grease build-up, but this pump station is cleaned out on a regular basis.All necessary documents were
avalible for review.
The current permit expires January 31, 2025 and the City has sent in the permit renewal package.

Comment: The City is replacing some gravity lines and slip lining others to help with I&I problems.
On pump stations without a permanent generator there are quick connects for a portable
generator and connections for a diesel pumps.
