Dear Mr. Eplin,
We are addressing the Tier 3 response required due to the pH and TSS exceedances. Our team is
now sampling and testing the outfall every month to track improvements and changes at the site.
We have taken steps to reduce exceedances by cleaning and clearing areas near the outfall,
including relocating site materials such as sand to a more enclosed space. Additionally, we are in
the process of improving the sand enclosure and are seeking contractors to extend and repair the
concrete wall. We believe we should be able to fix the sand enclosure wall within one month
without any delays caused by weather or contractors.
Furthermore,we have cleared and cleaned the pond on site of sand and vegetation and have added
more riprap to the pond area and outfall.
We are collaborating closely with Rohit Shetty, P.E. and Eric Eubanks, P.G. of Geological
Resources, Inc., to swiftly implement the necessary improvements at the site. We are also
conducting monthly inspections to ensure that improvements are being made as quickly as
possible. Once the above-listed site improvements have been completed, photographs and other
documentation will be provided in the summary report.
