Pinnix'; 'mayor@oibgov.com' Subject: Town of Ocean Isle Beach - The Orchards at Ocean Isle LPSS WQ0045807 A review of the application and supporting documents for the subject application has been completed in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T .0107. Please provide the additional or revised information for the following comments, in order for the office to complete the review: 1. No anti -flotation calculations appear to be submitted for the typical detail of the simplex grinder sewer pump stations in the supporting information for the permit application as required. Please provide the signed and sealed calculations. 2. The engineering plans submitted with the supporting information to the ASEA permit application do not include pressure profile information other than construction notes. A minimum cover of 3 feet for the proposed ground elevation in the cul-de-sac should be labeled on the profile and the vertical separation of the proposed pressure sewer main for its crossing point of the existing potable water main in East 2nd Street should also be labeled. Please provide the proposed pressure sewer main profile. 3. The submitted modeling summary information for the LPSS indicates a C factor of 140 was utilized for the modeling of the system. The Division's Minimum Design Guidelines for Pump Stations and Force mains requires a C factor of 120 be utilized when making such calculations for end -of service conditions for the proposed system. Please revise and provide this summary information utilizing a C factor of 120. A response to the above comments is considered required in order to proceed with the review of the application and issuance of the permit. If a complete response is not received within 30 days, the application and supporting documents will be returned to you in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2).
