Staff of the Winston-Salem Regional Office have confirmed that this Permit is no longer required. Therefore, in accordance with your request, NPDES Permit No. NCG550648 is rescinded, effective immediately. If in the future you wish to again discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a new NPDES Permit. Operating a wastewater facility without a valid NPDES Permit will subject the responsible party to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
