Mr. Hall,
Hope you are doing well sir.
Here is an update on our WWTF:
1. Spray Heads at Spray Field — Please see the documentation from the ordering of the parts for spray heads
#12, #15 and #16 attached to this email (see photos entitled Spray Fields 1, 2 and 3. "Spray Fields 2" is for
some adapters from PVC to Metal. According to Envirolink, all spray heads (including#14) have been fixed
and are working properly.
2. Grease and floating debris on the surface of the lagoon - At the moment, the lagoon seems to be free of
any floating grease.
3. Junk at the WWTF - Several pieces of abandoned equipment have been cleared out with some still left to
be cleared out.
4. Measure Sludge in Lagoon at the WWTF and Remove Excess — Is there any more information that you
need on this at this time?
5. Chlorination Chamber at the WWTF. — Envirolink informed us that they reached out to you about this. And
they indicated that they are looking into permit requirements in this regard.
6. Develop Program for Regular Measuring of Solids at Lagoon —We are in discussions with Envirolink on
the development of an acceptable program.
7. Pump House and Chlorination Room — Envirolink cleaned out both rooms.
8. Woody roots around the lagoon —Top Notch Lawn Care has cut around the lagoon and removed the
woody roots. Any bare areas will be seeded and strawed. Once this is done, pictures will be provided.
9. Rutting and ponding in the spray field - Top Notch has completed repairs on the identified areas. Any
subsequent areas will be addressed as they occur. Pictures for this will be provided.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Have a good day,
Thank you sir,
Joel Killion

Joel:
I appreciate you sending this to me, and I will put it in the file. I read through it quickly, and it looks good. While
this is primarily for your use, you may wish to consider the following:
• Preventative Maintenance/Daily/Item 4. —You might want to edit this line, as you do not have a drip
system.
• Emergency Response —You might want to consider an emergency response section that outlines what to
do if an emergency occurs (berm overtopping or failure, pipe breach, major equipment failure, etc.)
• On Site Records —You might also want to have calibration logs and certificates as well as specs and
manuals for all equipment on site.

Joel:
Good afternoon. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Overall this looks good. My primary concern is that
for the measurement of the sludge depth, we need some clarifications. Is the number measured the
thickness of the sludge, or the depth to the sludge? This is not clear from the table. More importantly, what
does this mean? Is the dept within the design capacity, or do solids need removal. The ORC needs to make
this evaluation, provide us with a summary, and indicate what actions, if any, need to be taken. Please see
the email I will send you soon. I have added other comments below, in blue (when acceptable) and red (if
something remains to be done). I will save this email to the file.

Mr. Hall,
Hope you are doing well.
I am emailing you this update on behalf of Sewer/Water Commissioner Walter Wells. Here are the updates he
wished to convey:
The depth of the solids in the lagoon was measured by Envirolink last week and they provided the
attached PDF report. I provided a comment in my text above. Please see the email I will send you
soon.
The freeboard level, as of today, can be seen in the two attached pictures.
The remaining woody roots around the lagoon will be worked on tomorrow and will be completed by
Friday. The area will be re -seeded with grass and hay will be laid by the end of next week. Pictures will
be provided. This has not yet been completed. We will provide pictures as soon as possible.
4. The rutting and ponding in the sprayfield will be worked on starting tomorrow and for the next two
weeks until complete. Fill dirt (see attachments) was hauled in last week to fill in the ruts and ponding.
Pictures will be provided.
The four documents you requested have been requested of Envirolink. We have asked them to email
them to you and to CC us on the email so we know when this has been done. I have still not received
these. Our Grease Control Plan is our "OIL & GREASE CONTROL ORDINANCE" at CLICK HERE. I will
email you the last 5 soil reports soon. The Inspection and Maintenance Records for the past 2 years
(They are unable to provide more than the last 2 years.) are included in an email I will send you soon.
Envirolink will email me the Operation and Maintenance Plan soon and I will email that to you as soon
as I get it. We are in the process of gathering documentation from any other contractors the Town has
utilized at the WWTF.
6. Spray head #14 has been fixed, according to Envirolink.
7. Parts have been ordered for the repair of spray heads #12 and #15 (2 Stand Pipes, 2 Ball Valves and 2
Nipples). Please send documentation when repaired. This has not yet been completed. We will
provide documentation as soon as the repair is made.
8. Spray head #16 will be repaired within the next 2 weeks. Please send documentation when repaired.
This has not yet been completed. We will provide documentation as soon as the repair is made.
9.
Please let us know of any concerns you may have and we will follow up with you.
Thankyou sir.
