The pond currently is infiltrating and the permanent pool elevation is not being
maintained. Based on this naturally infiltrating feature, the pond is considered to be
capturing the design storm and beyond, and is not creating any downstream flows as
a result. Based on the lack of permanent water source, we have advised that the
vegetated shelf not be planted.
