On-Site Determination of the Neuse Riparian Area Protection Rules (15A NCAC 2B .0233)-EXPRESS
REVIEW PROGRAM
On January 10, 2008, at the request of Phil May of Carolina Ecosystems, Inc., an on-site determination was
conducted to review the riparian buffer top-of-bank limits of one stream feature located on the subject property
for compliance with the Neuse Buffer Rules (15A NCAC 213 .0233). The Division of Water Quality(DWQ)has
determined that the following:
• During the field visit, it was observed that the riparian buffer top-of-bank locations that were flagged
along the stream were accurate and within the guidelines outlined in the Neuse Buffer Rules.
This letter only addresses the compliance to the buffer rules of the activity listed above and does not approve any
activity within the buffers or address features that were not observed during the site visit. Nor does this letter
approve any activity within Waters of the United States or Waters of the State. If you have any questions, please
