The North Carolina Environ- mental Management Commis- sion proposes to issue a NPDES wastewater discharge permit to the person(s) listed below. Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accep- ted until 30 days after the pub- lish date of this notice. The Dir- ector of the NC Division of Wa- ter Resources (DWR) may hold a public hearing Should there be a significant degree of public in- terest. Box 368, Have- lock, NC 285321 has requested renewal of NPDES permit NCO021253 for its Havelock Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Craven County. This permitted facility discharges treated doITlestic wastewater to the Neuse River, a class SI3, Sw, NSW water in the Neuse River Basin. Some of the parameters in the permit are water quality limited. This discharge may af- fect future allocations in this segment of the Neuse River." August 22, 2024
