Hi Sergei, I have a few comments on the permit for ATI Specialty Materials. 1. The following sentence has a typo. The word "expires" should be "expired". The previous permit was issued on May 2, 2014 and expires on January 31, 2019. 2. The data used to develop the draft permit limits appears to be based on the 2018 permit application. Since this information is more than 6 years old, I recommend the facility submit a revised permit application which includes production and effluent data from 2018-2023. Alternatively, they should send in a letter stating the data in the 2018 permit application is reflective of current operations. Another option would be for the final permit to require they submit updated form 2C information within the first few months after the effective date of the permit.
