I.Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for TPB NCDOT - Chatham Park Way South (R-5963A); 20241176 Ver 1;
Chatham County
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on September 06, 2024 NC DOT Division 8 () applied to the NC Division of
Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant to Section 401 of the Federal
Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is sought regards New
Road/Highway. The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is October 07, 2024.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on
October 07, 2024. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form
here: <https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments>. Written comments may also be
mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
