Hey Taylor,

Can you have the engineer add the stream bed elevation upstream and downstream of each culvert to the profile views like below to show that the culvert invert will sit 1’ lower than
the streambed? I’ve seen construction ‘bury’ the culvert at the right depth, but then slope the streambed down to the invert because the profile view wasn’t clear. Below is a rough
sketch of what I mean:

For the downstream culvert, were sills (one at the downstream and one at the upstream end) considered to hold fill since the slope is a little steeper? Please provide an explanation
if the calculations show that as designed it will hold native fill/sediment.

I am traveling all next week and will do my best to respond and work on this permit.
