Subject: Brunswick County - Saunders Village Off -site LPSS (WQ0045606)
A review of the application and supporting documents for the subject application has been completed in accordance
with 15A NCAC 02T .0107. Please provide the additional or revised information for the following comments, in order
for the office to complete the review:
1. The proposed additional sewer flowrate requested in the permit application indicates 1,890 GPD based on 9
residential units (each 3 bedroom) at a flowrate of 210 GPD per RDU. Please provide a copy of the design flow
reduction approval letter for use of 210 GPD per RDU.
2. No anti -flotation calculations appear to be submitted in the supporting information for the permit application as
required. Please provide the signed and sealed calculations.
3. No pump station emergency storage calculations appear to be submitted as required in support of the indication
on the permit application and sheet C8 of the engineering plans that 360 gallons of storage is available during a
power outage. Please provide the signed and sealed calculations.
4. Engineering plan sheet CIA depicts the 9 lots to be served by the proposed LPSS project. Lots #298 - #304 (7
lots) appear to be typical residential lots for a 3 bedroom home; however, the Warren and Brown lots appear to
be much larger in size. Please confirm the Warren and Brown lots are 3 bedroom residential unit lots and the
210 GPD per residential unit design sewer flowrate in the permit application is appropriate for them.
5. Engineering plan sheet C8 includes a table listing the simplex pump station top elevations and pump on
elevations for 8 of the 9 lots to be served. Please provide this information for the Brown lot.
A response to the above comments is considered required in order to proceed with the review of the application and
issuance of the permit. If a complete response is not received within 30 days, the application and supporting documents
will be returned to you in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2).

Please feel free to provide digital copies of these revised documents and supporting information to me via email along
with hardcopies via mail.
