Mr. Eplin,
On behalf of Circor Pumping Technologies, Monroe NC facility(COC NCG030293),we are providing email
notification as required by NCG030000 Part E,Table 3 for Tier 1 benchmark exceedances. Circor has become
aware of benchmark exceedances at Outfalls 004 and 005 for samples collected on August 6, 2024(results
received by Circor on August 22,2024).
The lab report dated August 16,2024, indicated the following:
1. SDO#004:TSS concentration of 134 mg/L(benchmark 100 mg/L);Zn concentration of 0.161 mg/L
(benchmark 0.126 mg/L).
2. SDO#005:TSS concentration of 136 mg/L(benchmark 100 mg/L);Zn concentration of 0.153 mg/L
(benchmark 0.126 mg/L); Cu concentration of 0.0235 mg/L(benchmark 0.010 mg/L).
