Dear Ms. Wilson:
NPDES Permit No. NC0087556, issued February 28, 2002 currently authorizes the Ledgestone
Subdivision Wastewater Treatment Plant (referred to on the permit as SchnyderlRiels
Development WWTP ) a maximum discharge rate of 27,000 GPD.
On behalf of HRS Land Development and by way of this letter, we request that this permitted
rate be increased by 9,000 GPD, from 27,000 GPD to 36,000 GPD. At the time of the initial
permit submittal, excess capacity had been designed into the plant in anticipation of future
demand. Proposed growth within the Ledgestone Subdivision has necessitated this request
which will effectively maximize the plant capacity and can be accommodated without
modification to the existing layout.
