NPDES Permit Clarification
Permit NCO087106
Champion Hills WWTP
Henderson County
The Division issued the subject permit on September 25, 2001. A review of the permit file by Mr.
Roy Davis of the NC DENR Asheville Regional Office noted a typographical error on the permit
cover letter. The text in the opening paragraph that stated the months where discharge is allowed
was incorrect. The cover letter should have included the following text:
"The permit allows the discharge of wastewater from the Champion Hills WWTP during the period
of November 1 through April 30. During the period of May 1 through October 31 the facility
shall continue to operate the non -discharge spray system under permit W0004115."
Please add this letter to your permit file and to any copies of the permit you have on -site. The
Effluent limitations page of the permit has not been modified, as it contained the correct dates.

Dave: It was called to my attention today that when we issued NCO087106
to Champion Hills, the cover letter said that the discharge can take
place from November 1 to March 31 whereas the permit effluent limits
sheet says that the discharge can take place from November 1 to April
30. April 30 was the intended date. Would -you be so kind as to reissue
the permit cover letter changing March 31 to April 30. Thanks, Roy Davis
