Dear Mr./Ms. Cole,
On January 3, 2008 the Division of Water Quality received application sets and fee for the above project. DWQ
is returning the check as the fee structure for 401 Permits has changed. Please see below and remit $240. You
may remit the original check with an additional one for the outstanding $40, or write one new check.
® The fee for applications is $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of wetland and less than 150
linear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial). For projects impacting one or more acres of
wetland or 150 or more feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial) the fee is $570.
