Comment Response Letter for Comments issued on August 14,2024
Comment Responses:
1. PDF of all documents included in physical resubmittal will be uploaded to the included link.
2. An additional orifice has been placed at the top of the Design Volume for both wet ponds.This is
reflected on both Wet Pond detail sheets and has been included in the Hydrograph calculations.
This drawdown time for this volume can be found on the Wet Pond calculation sheets provided.
NOTE:the size of this orifice has been limited by reducing the peak post-development flow to
within 10%of the peak pre-development flow.
3. Both forebays have been graded to show a lower entrance than exit.The elevation change can be
seen on the detail sheet for each wet pond and the contours also reflect this.Applicable
supplement forms have also been updated.
4. Application
a. Percent BUA has been recalculated per the included formula.
i. (93,320+ 162,078—6,312)/((15.20- .04(surface water)) *43,560—6,312)=
38.1%
b. Section IV, 10
i. On-site drainage area has been corrected.
ii. %Impervious has been changed
1. (93,320—6,312)/(180,307—6,312)=50.0%
iii. On-site parking has been corrected.
5. Supplement EZ
a. Drainage Areas
i. Line 8 total has been corrected.
ii. Lines 19-21 have been deleted.
iii. %BUA has been recalculated correctly.
b. Wet Pond Page
i. There was an issue with the formatting of the excel sheet,this has been
corrected.
ii. These have been updated.
6. Plans
a. Surface area of each vegetated shelf has been noted in the Landscaping Plan section so
that the ratio of plants to sqft may be verified.Vegetated shelf has also been hatched for
clarity's sake.
b. Maintenance&Access Easement(MAE,defined in Legend)has been labeled on grading
sheet("20' MAE TO SCM")and is illustrated by a dashed line traveling along the private
roads.Easement around ponds have been labeled more clearly("MAE OVER& 10'
AROUND WET POND)around wet ponds.
7. O&M Agreement
a. Revised sheet included.
8. Calculations
a. New orifice was added at top of design volume for both ponds and has been modeled on
both pond hydrographs.
9. Comment responses listed here.
10. PDF's will be uploaded. (2)sets of revised plan sheets have been included,along with(1)copy of
all other revised forms and calculations.
