Yes, I believe we should still remove the ARPA designation. While this is an ARPA project for Mebane, it's not one
that was funded through DEQ.And it's not part of the DWI database for tracking.

Hi Taylor,
I reached out to the applicant for the City of Mebane's Elevated Water Tank project regarding the
Economic Development Administration's funds. We wanted to verifythat the funds didn't come
from ARPA's pool prior to removing the ARPA designation from the project. I received the below
response from the applicant. Based on the below, do you still want the ARPA designation removed
from this project?
Thanks,
Brooklyn

Good afternoon Mr. Broussard,
Thank you for your review of the project and related requests. The City received project funds totaling
$2,502,990 from the Economic Development Administration American Rescue Plan Economic
Development Assistance program.
This program utilized ARPA funds but administered the monies as EDA funding; as such, the project
number is#04-79-07717.There is not an applicable LOIF with an ARPA number for this project.
Please see the EDA website showing the administration of funds as well as the attached excel document
which contains the 2022 ARPA award data from EDA.
