Hamer; Gregory Gordos Cc: Tran, Kieu M; Holloman, Tevye L; Georgoulias, Bethany; Fisher, Bonnie; Canter, Steve Subject: RE: [External]-Notice of Deficiency: Unpaid Permit Fee for NCC214045 Good afternoon Scott, As the Town of Weddington is the authority for this project, the Town will need to close this project out, DEMLR would not. Followingyour previous inquiry and communication, I reached out to the Town.As of the beginning of July, staff reported that the property had not been fully stabilized, the front yard had been sodded and stabilized but the right side of the property and the backyard had not yet been stabilized.Staff indicated that at the time they had previously spoken to the property owner and informed them of what needed to take place. Please ensure that the property owner has passed on any remaining items that may need to be completed and that those have been addressed. Also note that simply applying seed and mulch does not constitute permanent stabilization and that vegetation must be established prior to being closed out. Please ensure that the whole disturbed area of the project has been permanently stabilized before requesting closeout inspection. Mr. Gregory Gordos, From our last conversation this project was to continue to be monitored along with the larger subdivision. Please ensure that the inspection reports are provided to the financially responsible party to make sure that the owner is fully aware of the remaining items needed to be addressed or has the proper documentation if the project is being closed. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the necessary close out language. Paul Clark is no longer in Stormwater, but we will try to connect you to some staff to help. I'm copying Graham Parish here, who oversees compliance of the local Erosion Control Programs in the State. He may have a contact in Weddington or other advice foryou in how to deal with this dilemma. I've attached the document submitted for the initial NCG01 application. Graham, it appears the town has been unresponsive to requests for a closeout inspection. Is this something that Mecklenburg County would handle? I have copied Paul Clark on here as well as I have been trying for 4 months to get this inspection scheduled with the Town of Weddington. I am down to sendingjust one email a week, but for the first month I was sending 3 emails a week, I have not receive any communication back from Greg Gordos on conducting the inspection. This house closed in 10/22 and has complete grass growth over the yard and would have no issues on passing this inspection. My apologies as I cannot find the email, but you had stated previously that since I was notable to get the inspection scheduled you were going to waive the renewal fee. Please advise on what I need to do to get an inspection? SCOTT A.
