Notification, including supporting documentation to include a location map of the culvert, culvert profile drawings, and slope calculations, shall be provided to DWR 30 calendar days prior to the installation of the culvert. When bedrock is present in culvert locations, culvert burial is not required, provided that there is sufficient documentation of the presence of bedrock. Notification, including supporting documentation such as a location map of the culvert, geotechnical reports, photographs, etc. shall be provided to DWR a minimum of 30 calendar days prior to the installation of the culvert. If bedrock is discovered during construction,then DWR shall be notified by phone or email within 24 hours of discovery. Installation of culverts in wetlands shall ensure continuity of water movement and be designed to adequately accommodate high water or flood conditions. When roadways, causeways, or other fill projects are constructed across FEMA-designated floodways or wetlands, openings such as culverts or bridges shall be provided to maintain the natural hydrology of the system as well as prevent constriction of the floodway that may result in destabilization of streams or wetlands. The establishment of native woody vegetation and other soft stream bank stabilization techniques shall be used where practicable instead of rip-rap or other bank hardening methods. Learn why this is important Hello Chad and Matthew, After reviewing the Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application for Wawa NC42 and Son-Lan Pkwy, additional information is required in order to further process the application. Please provide the following information by 7/16/2024, and note that the requested information must be submitted within 30 days of this request, or the applicant will be required to submit a new application and application fee in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T .0107. 1. Provide a complete applicant email address on section 1.5 of the FTA and verify that Chad has the signatory authority for Garner (NC 42 Son-Lan) WW, LLC as per 15A NCAC 02T .0106(b). 2. Section IVA needs correction on the Facility Name as listed under the permit NC0030716. 3. Section V1.3 of the FTA needs to be checked. 4. Complete table of V1.7 with correct numbers. It should match V1.7. 5. Section IX.4 to IX.7 is incomplete. 6. Section X.3 is required to be completed and signed by the applicant [signatory authority for Garner (NC 42 Son-Lan) WW, LLC as per 15A NCAC 02T .0106(b)] 7. Your maps still need proper identification of the direction of gravity sewer and downstream sewer connection point. According to Section F of the Application Instructions, an 8.5-inch x 11-inch color copy of a USGS Topographic Map and an aerial map should be included with the application. The maps need to clearly identify the project area, including the closest surface waters, general location of the gravity sewer, pumpstations, and force mains, and the downstream connection points for the receiving sewer. Please provide the required maps according to the application requirements. 8. Your narrative needs more details on the purpose and project details. 9. Can you please elaborated on the existing gravity sewer main? You mentioned about Sam's Branch WRF. How this project is connected to Sam's Branch WRF and is there any existing gravity sewer, fore main, pumpstation, or any infrastructure that already was permitted but will used under this permit? 10. Are you removing any existing infrastructure while constricting this project? 11. This application is missing required FTSE 10-23 form. Please submit all the required and appropriate documents with most recent signature and submit it electronically/through mail. 15A NCAC 02T .0107 Staff Review and Permit Preparation states: • "(2) (e) If an application is accepted and later found to be incomplete, the applicant shall be advised how the application or accompanying supporting information may be modified to make it complete. The staff shall advise the applicant: (2) if all required information is not submitted within 30 days, the project will be returned as incomplete. Any resubmittal of a returned application shall be accompanied with a new application fee."
