RE: Non -Discharge Reclaimed Water Permit Minor Modification -Permit No. WQ0017791
Dear Non -Discharge Branch,
The City of Goldsboro's NPDES Permit No. NCO023949 was renewed on June 17, 2024.
Based on NPDES guidance regarding the reduction of monitoring frequencies in NPDES
permits for exceptionally performing facilities, the monitoring requirements for CBODs,
NH3-N, TSS and Fecal Coliform in attachment A of the NPDES permit have been
reduced from five times per week to two times per week. The City of Goldsboro is
requesting that the monitoring requirements for CBODs, NH3-N and TSS in attachment A
of the Non -Discharge Permit No. WQ0017791 be likewise reduced to align with those in
the NPDES permit. Please find enclosed active NPDES Permit No. NCO023949 and let me
know if you have any questions or need any additional information.
