Main Street Gibsonville, NC 27249 NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality August 7, 2024 SUBJECT: Rescission of Sewer Extension Permit Permit No. WQ0043460 Hartley's Homes Alamance County Dear Mr. Baxley: A rescission request was recently received for Permit No. WQ0040448, issued May 24, 2022. Staff from the Winston-Salem Regional Office have confirmed with a file review and a site visit that this Permit is no longer required. Therefore, in accordance with your request dated July 29, 2024, Sewer Extension Permit No. WQ0043460 is rescinded, effective immediately. If in the future you wish again to operate a non -discharge system, you must first apply for and receive a new Wastewater Collection System Permit. Operating a non -discharge system without a valid Wastewater Collection Permit will subject the responsible party to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
