SUBJECT: Rescission of Sewer Extension Permit
Permit No. WQ0043460
Hartley's Homes
Alamance County
Dear Mr. Baxley:
A rescission request was recently received for Permit No. WQ0040448, issued May 24, 2022. Staff from
the Winston-Salem Regional Office have confirmed with a file review and a site visit that this Permit is
no longer required. Therefore, in accordance with your request dated July 29, 2024, Sewer Extension
Permit No. WQ0043460 is rescinded, effective immediately.
If in the future you wish again to operate a non -discharge system, you must first apply for and receive a
new Wastewater Collection System Permit. Operating a non -discharge system without a valid Wastewater
Collection Permit will subject the responsible party to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact
Ron Boone at (336) 776-9690 or via email at ron.boone&deq.nc.gov.
Sincerely,
DocuSigned by,
