Good Evening,
I sent this invoice and its check request to our finance department in June, after receiving it in May due to it
being sent to an address we no longer use. I was not aware that it was still unpaid. I will research this
tomorrow and make sure you get it in this weeks check run.
Thank you for letting me know that it has not been sent to you yet.

Good evening Ms. Rosario,
This annual permit fee is still overdue. Pursuant to 15A NCAC 02T .0105(e)(2), the Permittee must pay the annual
administering and compliance monitoring fee. Failure to pay outstanding annual fees shall result in future
Compliance Notices. Please note that effective October 3, 2023, the annual permit fee for a Land Application
permit is now $1,160.00. Our updated fee schedule may be viewed at:
https://www.deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/water-resources/permitting/non-discharge/fees#FeeTypes-3150 .
Accordingly, please remit payment using ePayments, check, money order, or electronic funds transfer in
the amount of $1,160.00 for the following overdue annual fee. Make any checks payable to the North
Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
Invoice Number Invoice Date Due Date Annual Fee
2024PR003654 April 11, 2024 May 11, 2024 $1,160 Total: $1,160
Checks or money orders can be mailed to the following address:
Non-Discharge Branch
1617 Mail Service Center
Raleigh, NC 27699-1617
If you paid the overdue annual fee prior to receiving this notice, provide documentation verifying payment
(e.g., receipt, canceled check, etc.)
If the non-discharge system was never constructed or if it is no longer active, you may request to rescind
(cancel) your permit. If both the Central Office and Regional Office approve the rescission request, we will
also waive any overdue annual fees. However, if you wish to construct or operate the subject non-
discharge system in the future, you will have to obtain a new permit at that time. Please send an email to
nathaniel.thornburg@deq.nc.gov to request rescission.
If you no longer own the property containing the subject facilities, please notify us so that we can contact
the new landowner(s). As your permit notes, ownership of the permit does not transfer with the land,
therefore you are still responsible for the permit and annual fees until we can re-issue the permit to the
new landowner(s).
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and timely response. If you need additional information regarding this
email, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Good afternoon Ms. Rosario,
I can get your billing address updated for you. Is the address in your email signature the correct one? What owner
information would you like to correct on the permit?
For the online payment, please try the following link. I’ll investigate why the link on the invoice may not be working
anymore.

Good Morning,
I received our annual bill on the 16th of May, five days after it was due. The mailing address is incorrect so I need to
correct it and the other owner information on the permit. I tried to use the website address listed on the letter but
it came back as a 404 error.
Thank you for your help and we are getting this processed ASAP.
