Facility records were up to date and available for review. To ensure a much higher yield of the winter overseed crop, it is recommended that the winter overseed be drilled into the soil and not broadcast. For a seed to germinate it needs positive contact with the soil. Using a broadcast method over an existing grass crop does not ensure this positive contact with the soil. The spray irrigation fields were in acceptable condition. The winter overseed could have had a much higher yield and therefore, a higher nutrient uptake ifthe_overseed has been drilled in. .. Please continue to work on weed control. Please add lime as indicated by the soils report. No additional problems noted.
