We appreciate your June 28, 2024, response to Black&Veatch's letter pertaining to the January 11, 2024, meeting
regarding the discharge location for the proposed Crooked Creek Water Reclamation Facility. Your comments,
recommendations, and requests align with our understanding of our discussion and the path forward for Union
County Water. The path forward appears clear at this time.
As an update to Union County's future plan for the proposed Crooked Creek Water Reclamation Facility we wanted
to communicate to you that recently the Board of County Commissioners did not authorize continued work to
develop a new water reclamation facility at this time. We will reassess the options in the future as average daily
flows approach the 80/90 trigger for the existing water reclamation facility.
We appreciate the support of your staff in our previous efforts and look forward to working with you in the future.
