NW Ash, North Carolina 28420 (910) 287-5900/ pnorris@nbengr.com License # C-5102 N&B Project No. NT22112 NARRATIVE CARMEL VILLAGE -- PHASE 'I & 2 GRAVITY This public sewer system is designed to service 108 3-bedroom single family lots, 89 3- bedroom townhouse units for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The system is comprised of gravity 8" lines, a pump station, and 6" force main. The pump station is sized to accommodate future flows from Carmel Village Phase 3, 4, and 5, and the Clemmons Tract Subdivision. The pump station is designed for a flow of 116,130 GPD with duplex 45HP pumps capable of 300 GPD at 180 TDH. A total of 6,599 LF of 8-inch gravity line, and 35 LF of 6-inch SSFM will be needed to complete the system. This new system will connect into an existing 8" SSFM along Zion Hill and will be served by the Brunswick County. LOW PRESSURE This public sewer system is designed to service 26 3-bedroom single family lots. The system is comprised of low-pressure lines that will discharge into a proposed sewer manhole. A total of 1,196 LF of 2-inch LPSSFM and 778 LF of 3-inch LPSSFM will be needed to complete the system. This new system will connect into a proposed sewer manhole in the gravity portion of Carmel Village that will flow to a proposed pump station that will connect into an existing 8" SSFM along Zion Hill Road and be served by the Brunswick County.
