To continue the review,please provide the following additional information in a single,hard cony submittal package: 1. 15A NCAC 02H.1042(3)(b):The drainage area page of supplement appears to specify the roof built-upon area as the offsite drainage area.Please revise the drainage area page of the supplement to reflect the correct offsite drainage area,which appears to be 0 square feet from the other application documents provided and the correct roof built-upon area,which appears to be 168,000 square feet from the application and plan sheets provided. 2. 15A NCAC 02H.1042(2)(gxiv): The grading plan and plan sheet 8 show that swales greater than 1 foot in depth are proposed;however,the associated proposed contours are not provided. Please provide the proposed contours for these swales. 3. 15A NCAC 02H.1042(2xgxii)and .1042(2xg)(v): The grading,drainage,erosion,and sedimentation plan sheet 2 depicts Bonair Drive(and Pipe A)proposed on the northern side of this project as intended to connect to the adjacent Northridge Subdivision(SW8120313)and outside of the proposed Sandy Hollow project boundaries.A review of the permit file for the Northridge Subdivision shows that this proposed road connection area overlaps with the existing post-construction stormwater permit SW8120313 project area. Please resolve this overlap between proposed activities outside of the proposed project area and the existing, approved project area of SW8120313. One of the options to resolve this includes removing the Bonair Drive connection road and piping(Pipe A)that are outside the project limits(and within the SW8120313 project area)from the site plans and continuing in the express program. The proposed initial portion will be a single family residential subdivision consisting of 48 Lots and will involve an area of land disturbance totaling 15.5 acres. The site is currently partially cleared agricultural land and partially wooded. The existing topography of the site slopes North toward an unnamed tributary that eventually flows to New River. The Classification of New River at the location is C,NSW. According to the Onslow County Soil Survey,the area consists of Goldsboro Fine Sandy Loam,Norfolk Loamy Fine Sands and Baymeade Loamy Fine Sands. There are existing wetlands and a stream on site, as shown on the plans. The project is designed as a Low Density Stormwater Project with 24% Built Upon Area. The initial development will contain 48 single family lots. The rest of the property will be developed in the future. Proposed drainage for the project consists of strip pavement roads with grassed roadside swales and grassed outlet swales. To prevent the transport of sediment off-site from land disturbing activities, several erosion control measures are proposed. The project entrance will have a stabilized construction entrance to prevent sediment from leaving the site via truck traffic. Temporary sediment basins and sediment traps shall be installed during construction. In addition,most of the entire site shall be wrapped in silt fence. NORTH CAROLINA IMAM SANDY HOLLOW STORNIWATER NARRATIVE APRIL 2023 Sandy Hollow is a proposed 70.22 acre project located off of US Hwy 2581NC Hwy 24, West of Jacksonville,in Onslow County,NC. The proposed initial portion will be a single family residential subdivision consisting of 48 Lots and will involve an area of land disturbance totaling 15.5 acres. The site is currently partially cleared agricultural land and partially wooded. The existing topography of the site slopes North toward an unnamed tributary that eventually flows to New River. The Classification of New River at the location is C,NSW. According to the Onslow County Soil Survey,the area consists of Goldsboro Fine Sandy Loam,Norfolk Loamy Fine Sands and Baymeade Loamy Fine Sands. There are some wetlands on site,as shown on the plans. The project is designed as a Low Density Stormwater Project with 24%Built Upon Area. The initial development will contain 48 single family lots. The rest of the property will be developed in the future. Proposed drainage for the project consists of strip pavement roads with grassed roadside swales and grassed outlet swales. To prevent the transport of sediment off-site from land disturbing activities,several erosion control measures are proposed. The project entrance will have a stabilized construction entrance to prevent sediment from leaving the site via truck traffic. Temporary sediment basins and sediment traps shall be installed during construction. In addition,most of the entire site shall be wrapped in silt fence.
