Dear Ms. Manuel:
We are in receipt of the above referenced Notice of Violation, received June 26, 2024,
which involved an overflow occurring May 9, 2024. The overflows were the result of
rags in the collection system which resulted in a backup. The lines were cleaned and the
rags were removed.
Staff canvassed the nearby neighborhood to inform them of the impact of putting debris
down the drain. For those they could not talk to, a door hanger was left with the
information. Additionally, a school upstream of the event, Warren Williams school, was
contacted so they could pass this information on to their students.
