Inspection Summary:
The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and related documentation was complete. The facility has a sand filter
that collects stormwater from the parking lot and reports no discharge. The sand filter takes much longer to discharge due
to infiltration and the outlet should be checked after the water level lowers. There were also a couple of swales below the
sand filter that may discharge stormwater from the storage yard. The outfalls must be evaluated during a rain event. If you
have questions, contact me at Lily.Kay@deq.nc.gov or by phone at(704)235-2137.
