Dear Mr. Haylett:
On April 1, 2024, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) received a Representative
Outfall Status Request Form for the above referenced facility. That form indicates that the facility would like to
sample Stormwater Outfall#5 as representative of Outfalls#1,#2,#3 and#4. Based upon the information submitted
and the inspection completed by Kathryn Peterson and Stephanie Landers of NCDEQ on April 3, 2024, the
representative outfall request is hereby approved.
Note that representative outfall status does not apply to Qualitative Monitoring,which is still required at each outfall.
Representative outfall status likewise does not reduce sampling frequency or change the monitored parameters. By
receiving the representative outfall requests,the facility can avoid sampling Outfalls#1,#2,#3 and#4 because they
are represented by samples from Outfall#5.
A copy of the Inspection Report for the referenced inspection is attached. Additionally,NCDEQ requests that update
the stormwater contact names and numbers for your facility with DEQ. The contacts appear to have changed.
