Box 1396 Oxford, NC 27565 Subject: Annual Report Review Permit No. WQ0000838 Granville Farms Land Application of Class B Residuals Statewide Jason Smith, The 2023 Residuals Annual Report for Granville Farms Land Application of Class B Residuals program was reviewed by WQROS staff on July 17, 2024. The report was received on February 28, 2024. A signed certification form was submitted and indicated compliance. The report was compiled and submitted by Soil Plus, LLC. In 2023, Granville Farms collected and distributed approximately 2,283.56 dry tons of residuals sourced from facilities listed in Attachment A of the permit to 50 fields listed in Attachment B of the permit comprising 915 acres. Metals and Nutrients analyses were completed as required with no reported exceedances of limits. TCLP analysis is required for 12 of the 48 source facilities utilized under this permit during 2023. 11 of these facilities require TCLP analysis 1 time per permit cycle. TCLP analyses results were reported for 8 of these 11 facilities and are not required again during the current permit cycle. 3 of these 11 facilities (Chapel Ridge WWTP, Enfield WWTP, and Kerr Lake Regional WTP) have not yet met the TCLP analysis reporting requirement for the current permit cycle. 1 facility (Roanoke River WWTP) requires TCLP analysis annually. TCLP analyses results were reported for this facility during 2023 as required. Pathogen and Vector Attraction reduction is required for the source facilities excepting 3 and was conducted for the subject source facilities as required by the permit. The report was received on time and in the proper format. At the time of the report review the facility appeared compliant with the annual report requirement.
