Dear Mr. Matthews & Ms. Karoly:
I am submitting the attached documentation in response to the October 9,
2007 permit suspension letter from John E. Pulliam, Jr., Colonel, U.S. Army,
District Commander which was sent to the Town of Holly Springs, and in response
to the on-site permitting meeting that was held with the Division of Water Quality
(DWQ) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USAGE) on August 15, 2007.
Since, receipt of the letter and the meeting, we and our consultants Kimley Horn
and Associates have been working closely with Jean Manuele, Monte Matthews
from the USAGE, and DWQ staff to address those items needed to bring this
project back into compliance with the permit. The attached submittal includes the
Green Oaks Parkway Modification PCN and Stream Repair & Stabilization Plan.
Earlier this week, field as-built survey information was sent to you as well to show
the existing field conditions as they relate to both construction already completed
and construction proposed. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or
need for additional information for this project.
