A Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources file review has determined that
Stormwater Permit SW7971024 for a stormwater treatment system consisting of an
alternative design system serving Charleston Place, Phase 2 located at the intersection
of NC Hwy 12 and Sunset Blvd, Corolla, NC expires on April 11, 2022, Renewal
applications are due 180 days prior to expiration. A review of the Currituck County tax
records shows that the property is currently owned by B & B Partners, LLC.
The Coastal stormwater rules and the NC General Statutes require a stormwater permit
for this project. Stormwater permits are not automatically transferred when property is
sold. The stormwater permit was originally issued to Buck Island, Inc. Please submit a
completed permit renewal application and a stormwater ownership transfer application
along with a $505.00 processing fee. Permit application forms for renewal and
ownership transfer can be found on our website at:
=- North Carolina General Statutes and the
Coastal Stormwater rules require that this property be covered under a stormwater
permit. Failure to maintain a permit subjects the permittee and landowner to
assessment of civil penalties.
