Facility in Wake County, NC. This facility is permitted for operation of a reclaimed water conjunctive utilization system consisting of a 23.55 acre conjunctive reclaimed water irrigation area, rainfall sensors with automatic shutoff system, and all associated piping, valves, controls, and appurtenances. The purpose of this inspection was to ensure compliance with the subject permit. During the inspection the cooperation and assistance provided by Anne Marie Baese, Bakri Abushouk, and Andrew Noonan from Seqirus, and Bill Smith from Ideal Landscaping was helpful and appreciated. This compliance evaluation inspection consisted of the following: •Review of the permit •Review of the owner/facility information •Review of Non-Discharge Monitoring Reports (NDMRs) and •On-site inspection of conjunctive utilization components The current permit was issued February 13, 2023 and will expire on September 30, 2028. The inspector reviewed the facilities Operation and Maintenance Plan, which was found to be adequate. Reclaimed water system components are properly color coded except for some tubing installed during leak repairs. In many places the color has faded due to age and sun exposure and needs to be refreshed. Rain breaker devices are installed on all irrigation control panels as required by the permit. The facility has not irrigated any reclaimed water in over a year and does not currently have any intentions of irrigating any reclaimed water in the future. System components should be evaluated and repaired or replaced if necessary and brought to good working condition prior to any future irrigation events.
