The amendment is to disclose the use of Hydrex 60240 (Aluminum Chloride Hydroxide Sulfate) for use in the wastewater treatment system. This product will be used to aid in TSS control. An updated list of chemicals is attached, as well as the Hydrex 60240 SDS. Please include this with the relevant permit files. It is our understanding that with this amendment to the existing permit application, no permit modification would be necessary, and Duke Energy is authorized to utilize the additives to assure compliance with NPDES permit limits.
