Box 519 Taylorsville, North Carolina 27520 Subject: NPDES Permit Correction NPDES Permit No. NC0034860 Schneider Mills Alexander County Dear Mr. Elder: The Division issued a modification of the subject permit on May 26, 1998. Your review of the permit modification identified a discrepancy between the final modification and the intent of your modification request. Specifically, your requested changes in sample type were relevant to outfall 001 only. This permit correction restores the sampling requirements for outfall 002. Please find enclosed the corrected Effluent Limitations page for outfall 002. This page should be inserted into your permit. The old page may then be discarded. All other terms and conditions contained in the original permit remain unchanged and in full effect. This permit correction is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statutes 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. If any parts, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit correction are unacceptable to you, you have the right to an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within thirty (30) days following receipt of this letter. This request must be a written petition conforming to Chapter 150B of the North Carolina General Statutes, filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings, Post Office Drawer 27447, Raleigh, North Carolina 27611-7447. Unless such demand is made, this decision shall be final and binding. If you have any questions concerning these permit corrections, please contact Charles Weaver at telephone number (919) 733-5083, extension 511.
