Dear Mr. Schneider:
The final plans and specifications.for the subject project have been reviewed
and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction
of a 0.75 MGD wastewater treatment facility consisting of a bar screen, an influent
flow measurement and recording device, a 0.75 MG aeration basin -with dual 25 HP aera-
tors, a 0.13 MG clarifier with sludge return, a cascade aerator, an aerobic sludge
digester, with dual blowers, four (4) 3,200 square foot sludge drying beds, and all
associated pumps, piping, and appurtenances to serve Schneider Mills Taylorsville
facility.
This Authorization to Construct is issued in accordance with Part III paragraph
C of NPDES Permit No. NCO034860 issued December 17, 1982, and shall be subject to revo-
cation unless the wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with
the conditions and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0034860. ''he Permittee must
employ a certified wastewater operator in accordance with Part III paragraph D of
the referenced -Permit.
