Inspection Summary:
Inspection of this vehicle maintenance facility at 2695 Rouse rd exd, Kinston NC 28504 was conducted on 07/10/2024. Met
with Greggory L. Thompson, Area Environmental Protection Specialist, USACE-Charleston -81st Readiness Division and
Marty Morris, GTP Airport Operations Superintendent, GTP- Global Trans Park and representatives of Kinston County
Sherriff.
This facility was operated by US Army reserve 81st Readiness Division on a lease from Kinston County and had NPDES
Industrial stormwater permit NCGNE1219 (no-exposure certificate). 81st Readiness Division has applied for rescission of this
permit as they are no longer the operator. As informed by the representatives from Global transpark and Lenoir County, this
facility is currently owned by Global transpark and operated on lease by Lenoir County since 2023. This facility is covered
under the NCS000250 permit of NCDOT highway stormwater program.
This permit can be rescinded.
