Dear Michael Hall,
ONSWC is in receipt of a Notice of Violation and Intent to Assess Civil Penalty dated April 15,2024.
Our office received this notice April 30,2024.
After reviewing January rain fall totals,we determined Bingham Woods MHP WWTF received approximately
8.1 inches of rain in January.This excessive amount of rain caused the monthly average flow to exceed the
allowable limit.
Additionally,we plan to perform an inflow and infiltration assessment in Bingham Woods collection system to
determine if any repairs are required.
Considering the excessive rainfall to be beyond ONSWC control,we respectfully request a waiver of all civil
penalties.
