Hi Michael, Please see attached for the jurisdiction determination letter for the site. The pond you’re referring to was non-jurisdictional and we have already drained / filled it in as a part of our land disturbance permit through Durham County. We do have a 404/401 certification for other environmental impacts and can provide that if it’s helpful, but should not have an effect on the sewer routing we show in the previous map. I’ve also included a snip below of the site from May 2024 with the same markups as the USGS map for context! Let us know if you have any other questions. After reviewing the detailed map, it appears that the sewer runs under a couple of ponds. This being the case, does this site need/have a 401 certification? I have reviewed the application, and it looks good, but there are two items we still need to complete the modification. Please provide the following: Confirmation that the project will be discharging to the WQCS00038 sewer system (the current application indicates the system is “unknown”. A map that is zoomed in on the area of interest, and clearly shows the location of the gravity sewer, pump station, and force main, as required under Item F. of the application. Once I receive these, I will be able to complete the permit modification. Please provide the above information within 30 days. If additional information/corrected application is not received within 30 days, your application will be returned, and you will need to resubmit along with the fee [ref. 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2)]. Please contact me if you have any questions about this request.
