3M has identified a data logging issue with the WWTP feed pump flow meter causing influent volume to be overreported in our internal database. The system is logging a baseline flow
above zero gpm even when the feed pumps are not operating, which is not possible. 3M believes the issue began with the last annual calibration performed on 5/7/24, which coincides
with the start of the higher data transmissions. 3M is currently working with the calibration technician to resolve the issue.
3M is able to provide the flow volumes through alternative methods. The flow meter has an on -site display panel that continues to give accurate readings, and those readings are recorded
by our third -party WWTP operator each day the treatment facility is serviced. When the operator is not on site (primarily weekends) there are no direct flow recordings, but 3M can rely on
the database records.
For this report, the direct display values are used in the total feed flow calculations for days when in -person recordings were taken. For days when no direct recording was taken, 3M has
manually calculated the total flow by subtracting the higher baseline flow from the values recorded in our database. The manually calculated values are marked with an asterisk (*) on the
NDMR.
